Taste of Italy

Tabula Rasa, Hyderabad

The Basics - Cards not accepted, no bar, lovely Italian food, good and quick service, lovely ambiance.
The Address - Road #35, Jubilee Hills. Next to Blue Cross
The Verdict - Do not miss

Previously known as Syala, the new Tabula Rasa is a great addition to Hyderabad's thriving Italian food culture. The word Tabula rasa is Latin for "blank slate". The restaurant is owned by a Vizag born lad, who also happens to own the chic FSM Cafe - Flying Spaghetti Monster Cafe.

Currently under construction, one section of the restaurant is cordoned off. The entrance is make-do and the upside down door is artsy. The outdoor seating is perfect for a lovely Italian dinner here but if you don't mind Hyderabad's hot days, it makes for an afternoon well spent.

All my claustrophobic readers can breath a sign of relief - the wooden tables are huge, spacious, neat and overall, very comfortably accommodated my party of seven. The older crowd may find the benches and wooden chairs slightly uncomfortable but I didn't have any problem.

We started off our meal with a few refreshing mocktails to provide us with some relief from the sunny Saturday. We went on to starters and seamlessly moved over to a main course of pizzas and pastas.

Here's a breakdown of what we ordered along with our opinions.

Bacon wrapped mozerlla cheese - unlike the usual bacon wrapped prawn or chicken, the bacon isn't fried and crispy. It was soft, almost as if it was steamed with cubes of mozerlla cheese melting from the inside and in my mouth. Unfortunately we couldn't order seconds as the kitchen had run out of cheese.

Vegetable/cheese garlic bread - the garlic bread here isn't what you would normally expect. It's a flat sandwich filled with vegetables and cheese. The freshly baked bread is soft and thick and the filling melts in your mouth. Personally, I preferred the vegetable garlic bread. Don't get me wrong, the cheese garlic bread was no where near bad. It oozed of cheese and every bite was like a burst of mozerlla in my mouth. It was however slightly bland but the chili flakes, Tabasco and oregano on the table make up for it.

Bruschetta - I was rather disappointed with the bruschetta but in all fairness it was not chef recommended. The bread crumbled and wasn't baked to perfection. Although the right amount of vinegar and salt was used, something was missing. The tomatoes were finely cut but did not enhance the overall taste of this starter. I'm not sure if I would order it again.

Caper bruschetta - a much better version of the above mentioned bruschetta is this caper bruschetta. Made of bell peppers, red and yellow, the chef's secret recipe will not disappoint. It's a perfect starter for all you vegetarians!

Pepperoni pizza - it's your usual thin crust pepperoni pizza with lots of cheese. While there isn't anything out-of-the-world about it, there's definitely nothing wrong with it either. If you like pizza, order it or choose from their many other pizza options. You can also opt to make your pizza with one side vegetarian and the other with meat. The vegetarian pizza with olive, jalapenos and sun dried tomatoes was also to die for!

Vodka bacon pasta - Definitely fattening, this pasta meal is probably not the best option for those on a diet. Nevertheless, it was one of the best pastas I've eaten. Loads of crispy bacon, a pasta of your choice and a lovely cheesy sauce make up this dish. The sauce is not watery but perfect in its consistency. Going by this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to order any other pasta from their menu.

The bomb - similar to molten lava cake, the restaurants most popular dessert disappointed me. I suppose I expected too much from it but regardless, it didn't offer something extrodinary - it lacked originality. The cake was fluffy and the vanilla ice cream on the side with chocolate sauce was well, expected. However, if you have a sweet tooth and if you love chocolate, how can you possibly go wrong with this?

Blueberry cheesecake - as my family is very fondly nicknamed "chocoholic" we were slightly reluctant to order a cheesecake, and moreover, a blueberry cheesecake for dessert. On the owners' insistence we decided to get one anyway. Surprisingly this is one of the best blueberry cheesecakes I've eaten.

As for drinks we Nojitho, Eye of the tiger, and Pinacolada. While the pina colada and nojitho were perfect with their lime, sugar and coconut, I found the eye of the tiger to be a tad bit too sweet. I'm sure you'll love it though!

While here, make sure to talk to the lovely owner, Ajay, who happens to own a chic Italian restaurant in Vizag. Ask for his advice on what to order, he's got good taste in food and will ensure you have a good time dining here!

What's hot - Bacon wrapped mozerlla
What's not - Bruschetta

Spicy, Red and Incredibely Tasty

Haiking, Hyderabad

The Basics - Good food, decent service, for Indian Chinese it might be slightly expensive, good ambiance, parking problems. Rs. 1000-1200 for two.
The Address - Road # 36, opposite Nature's Basket, Jubilee Hills
The Verdict - If Indian Chinese food is your thing, do not miss!

Indian Chinese food has become a staple meal for every Indian. It's humble roots originating in Kolkata (Calcutta), the Chinese were quick to learn that Indians love their food spicy, oily and red. Come to think of it, what really makes Indian Chinese food popular is the "Indianness" of it. The Chinese were quick to figure this out and simply masala-fried and greased their cuisine into a gluttonous delight bestowing them with the lethal formula for success in the Indian food market.

Haiking, hasn't forgotten this lethal recipe. They've expanded into the high-heeled Jubilee Hills market and are still trying to find their feet here. Parking is a problem and some of the waiters are yet to be trained, but the chefs' secret recipes remain the same.

Keeping with my Haiking tradition of Ginger Chicken, Spring Rolls, Fried Wanton with Garlic Sauce, Chilly Fish and Fried Rice, I religiously ordered my favourites. I could have easily fed an army of ten with these quantities, but I come from a family that strictly follows an "I-don't-share-my-food" policy.

The ginger chicken was tender, generously bathed in ginger sauce and the spring rolls were nicely oily, triggering signals in my brain saying "Eat, eat eat!" The garlic sauce that came with the wantons was not watered down but rather thick, acting as a perfect combination, almost like an alloy. The ambrosial fish is fresh and spicy, leaving me craving for more. And the fried rice, is just as you expect it to be, typically Indian Chinese.

The nodding waiters, good food and the comfortable ambiance makes for a good dinner or lunch. That's the good news. The bad news is that parking is a problem and the building being under construction, can be of a nuisance.

Come here with your family or a bunch of friends. If you have to take someone culinary tasting to try out some spicy, red, oily and incredibly tasting, "authentic" Indian Chinese food, bring them here. If you have any plans of starting a family soon, this is probably not the place for you - unless of course, you're a regular already.

If you don't mind slightly expensive Indian Chinese, then, happy eating!

What's hot - Ginger chicken

Beyond Coffee, Hyderabad

The Basics - Coffee shop, slow service, unhelpful waiters, good food and ambiance, good for breakfast. 7.00am - 11.00pm. 600-800 for two.
The Address - 237, Road no. 36 Jubilee Hills.
The Verdict - Good for breakfast if you don't mind the bad service

Hello, Saturday! It's about time you arrived. There is no better start to anyone's weekend than a hearty breakfast. Today, The Foodista takes you to a well established coffee shop - Beyond Coffee.

Artsy, free WiFi and comfortable chairs sums up Beyond Coffee. We chose to sit indoors, in the comfort of the air conditioner and started our lovely breakfast with hash browns, cafe latte and green tea. While the waiters were slow and lackadaisical, I told myself to write it off blaming it on Hyderabad's chalta hai attitude. I was determined not to ruin my weekend's first morning.

The Hash browns were hot, and the edges were crisped to perfection, it was like the stuff of legends. Next came the Crispy bacon, eggs to order and pancakes with maple syrup and toast. The bacon was hardly crispy, the omelette was intact, generously filled with cheese, tomatoes and ham and the pancakes were soft. The waiter refused to swap the maple syrup for chocolate sauce leaving me utterly disappointed. As my omelette was egg white, I was required to pay an additional Rs. 35 to the otherwise already overpriced dish (Rs. 260). Finally, the Caffe latte was a pure Arabica delight!

I dig the atmosphere here. It's quite in the mornings but gets busy through the day. You can appreciate the art surrounding you while you sip your coffee or enjoy a simple meal. The waiters don't bother you and you're not thrown the bill half way through your meal, signalling the door and your exit, in order to seat more customers. All in all, it's a good start to your weekend!

P.S - Pick up their breads on your way out- they are fresh, soft and the slices big!

What's hot - Hash browns
What's not - Bacon - ask them to make it crispy, it might just be good!

Best Pasta in Hyderabad

On the occasion of National Pasta Day, I thought I would create a list of restaurants serving the best pasta in Hyderabad. In this entry, I give you six restaurants that undoubtedly have the best pasta in town. While they are not in order of preference, I leave you to make your own choice. Pack your bags, pick up your wallet and head out for some beautifully made pasta. Remember to know your pasta before going out...

Little Italy
Road no 92, Film Nagar, Hyderabad
Rs. 345-450
It's vegetarian, I know. But the pastas here are fresh, steaming and come with just the right amount of sauce. If you don't want to ever wrong with your pasta, this is the place for you.

Mocha Express
Inorbit Mall Food Court, Hitec City.
Rs. 100 for veg and 125 for non-veg
It's small and it's take-away. The counter may not impress you and you probably disliked everything else you ate here, but the pastas are hot, full of sauce and made spicy to suit the Indian taste buds. If it's cheap pasta that you're looking for, this is the place for you. Arabiatta and Pesto are worth your time and money.

Peperoncino
Rs 325 for veg and 355 for non-veg
If you've ever wanted a custom made pasta without actually slogging in the kitchen, Peperoncino is where you should be tonight. Make your pasta, choose from six sauces and add your meats - go crazy! Not only is well cooked, but it's light on the pocket too.

Olive Bistro
Road no. 46, Durgam Cheruvu, Jubilee Hills
Rs. 500-600
Once again, the pastas are fresh and come in various types. The sauce was rich and the meat tender. The view adds to and enriches the whole experience. If you're willing to splurge or have to take someone out on a date, here's the place for you.

Mama Mia Italia
111, Defense Colony, Sainikpuri
Rs. 79-134
You won't find the most authentic pasta here but their concoction is yummy. It's simply and the sauce is cheesy. It's hot and the chunks of meat or zucchini in the pasta blend well. The choice is limited but it's inexpensive and sooo worth it's price.

Seasonal Tastes - The Westin
Midspace IT Park, The Westin, Hitec City
Rs. 400-600
Agreed it's expensive but at least they get their pasta right. It comes firm, dripping in the sauce of your choice and melts in your mouth. Al dente! I would go here if I'm fancying some fancy pasta.

Until my next post is up, bon appetit and happy National Pasta Day!

Cafe With No Truffles

Truffles Cafe, Hyderabad

The Basics - Poor service, overpriced, good breakfast, great ambiance, quite, badly maintained, inconsistent with quality, Continental. 800-1000 for two.
The Address - 376, Road no 10, Jubilee Hills. Or call 040-23550105 if you're lost.
The Verdict - Good for breakfast, but not worth the price. If at all, go for the ambiance.

A house turned into a coffee shop, Truffles Cafe is trying a new concept in Hyderabad. It isn't a coffee shop that is synonymous to hookah and nouveau riche spoiled kids but one that spells class and tries to emulate European coffee shops.

The decor is simple and the coffee shop is multi-leveled. Prepare to walk up a good number of stairs if outdoor seating is what you're looking for. The room is brightly lit with yellow as a central theme running through the coffee shop. The bar-like counter is dolled up with wine and liquor bottles giving it a coffee-bar like feel. Don't be fooled, there alcohol prices are pretty penny. They do however offer red and white wine, whiskey, vodka, rum, brandy and cognac.

Source: http://www.vintage-obsession.com/style/hyderabad
Circular tables and wooden chairs make up the furniture and old movie posters, cartoons and paintings deck the walls. It has a welcoming feel to it. Truffles Cafe is one of those places where you can easily go alone for a coffee or walk in with your laptop and a book to read. It is quite and has it's occasional visitors streaming in every now and again. The waiters are always busy walking around ensuring that their customers are taken care of but slack off somewhere in between your meal leaving you disappointed. Nevertheless, I've noticed that Tuffles has become more popular with the masses and parking is nuisance now. If not for the valet parking, I'm not so sure I'd go there!

The menu is extensive and boasts of almost everything you can imagine of in the Continental flare. While the food is good Truffles is exorbitantly overpriced for a coffee shop. Yet, what keeps bringing me back is the ambiance. For breakfast, their bacon is crisp and the sausages hot, steaming and soft on the inside. Their Spanish omlette is fluffy, waffles so hard I could barely cut through them and finally, the scrambled eggs were decent. There's your Sunday morning dream!

Their pizzas are thin crust, oven fired and suited to fill one stomach. The vegetarian Italiano pizza for Rs. 250 and the Lamb Bolognese pizza ooze of cheese and the crust is crisp. If the cheese is not enough for you, ask for an add on for Rs. 50. While I did not enjoy the Sea food pizza my friends did.

Their Penne Arrabiata was watery and lacked enough meat and vegetables, the dripping consistency itself putting you off. The penne was under-cooked and distasteful.

They disappointed with the deserts with the Blueberry Cheesecake not tasting but definitely looking like one. Weirdly the Butterscotch cheesecake was in fact, a cheesecake. The Apple pie came warm but the Tiramisu was perfect. It was light and fluffy, leaving a teeny explosion of chocolate, coffee and liquor on your tongue with the very first bite.

Sadly, the cafe is badly maintained despite having toyed with the natural environment to Truffles Cafe's own advantage. Beautiful natural rocks sit against the backdrop contrasted by a badly maintained wall with the paint peeling off. The quality of food is inconsistent and I find myself leaving happily one day while the next, I leave behind no tip at all. It's a risk you will have to take and I'm not sure if I will continue to what with many more cafes springing up around town. Yet, we all go back, perhaps because of the ambiance and the delightful breakfast or maybe even for the "Before I die I would" wall at the entrance.

P.S - There are no truffles on the menu. I looked twice!

What's hot - Pizzas, Spanish omlette.
What's not - Penne Arrabiata

Boogie To The Music

Coco's Bar and Grill, Hyderabad

The Basics - Continental, Indian, Chinese. Goa/Hawaii/beach theme. Live music. In between moderately and expensively priced but alcohol is expensive. Bar. Crowded. Reserve a table. 1400-2000 for two.
The Address - KBR Park Road (Road no. 2), 217, Floor 2, Banjara Hills. Or call 040-23540600 if you're lost
The Verdict - Go for the music and the atmosphere. Do not miss.

Source: http://cocosbarngrill.com/imagegallery?&index=1
As you climb the dingy stairs leading to Coco's the music gets louder and the place more crowded. Upon entering you are immediately transported to Hawaii or Goa with the shack like look of this restaurant that has been around since forever. Coco's overlooks the 200 odd acres of the KBR Park and makes for the best dinner outing. There's live music playing six days a week while you order your food and chug your drinks.

Especially popular with the younger crowd of Hyderabad, it is not uncommon to see a few of those older faces around. Fondly known as Coco's, the pebbled and sand floor of the restaurant makes you want to stay longer. The seating is low in a section of the restaurant but regular tables make up the rest. As they cannot handle (and do not have enough space) for an overload of customers, it is advisable to either reserve a table or head to Coco's for an early dinner. During lunch, it is usually free.

English music, both new and old, fill the air and the chatter of the young can he heard. The waiters and manager are hustling around trying to accommodate everyone and playing perfect host. They do not spend too much time at your table but their faces are etched with a smile. They proudly tell you that their most popular dish is their Lamb chops which is succulent and charred on the sides. Their chilly prawns are not as chilly as one would expect but the prawns are bouncy in texture and slightly firm with a slight hint of a crunch. It is Indian-Chinese-ized, but that's what makes it lip-smackingly yum.

On the flip side their chicken wings are just about average. They lacked flavour and did not live up to the reputation Coco's built up for itself. The grilled fish with parsley rice was another let down. The fish was surprisingly hard and rice slightly overcooked.

If you're a vegetarian heading to Coco's, their stuffed mushrooms are worth your money. The mushrooms are not minuscule and they are liberal with their stuffing. The vegetable lasagne was decent but not cheesy, yet, the quantity was large. The ravioli was soft and divine but the Greek salad had not a trace of feta cheese.

You cannot leave Coco's without a pint/pitcher of beer (Rs.160/650). Mojitos and Long Island Beach Party are good but the Sangrias can definitely be ignored.

I do not usually go to Coco's Bar and Grill for their food as much as I do for the rock, contemporary and pop English music that they have to offer. I dig the candlelit theme every night and usually enjoy their service. Coco's attracts the best crowds in the twin cities and despite the sometimes, two hour long wait, it is still somewhat unheard of. It's a gem for the city, and I hope it stays that way.

What's Hot - Lamb Chops
What's Not - Grilled fish with parsley rice

A Cup of Coffee

Testa Rossa Caffe, Hyderabad

  • The Basics - Coffee shop, extensive menu, "diet" coffee, casual atmosphere, popular with the masses
  • The Address - Road no. 10 Jubilee Hills, near Canara Bank
  • The Verdict - Must go if you're in the area
Source: http://www.fanpop.com/clubs/coffee/images/13874300/title/coffee-wallpaper
They’re Italian. They believe in good coffee. They serve good coffee and believe in the “legendary life”. Italy’s finest, Testa Rossa Caffe, has finally arrived in Hyderabad! The Testa Rossa Caffe brand (although Italian, it actually belongs to the Austrian company Handelshaus Wedl), which was established in 1994, is a popular hangout spot across the globe with branches in parts of Europe and Dubai.

When just a month old, Testa Rossa Caffe looked promising. It has promised and parking is a bit of problem here. Located on the posh road number 10 of Jubilee Hills, the red and white sign is hard to miss. The ambiance and the décor are pleasant with soft music playing in the background. The stone steps and the small pebbles laid on the floor outdoors gives this coffee shop a welcoming feel. The place is well spread out with seating both indoors and outdoors.

You’re one with nature sitting outside with natural greenery, stone pebbles and the overhead trellises. The stark white interiors contrasting with the bright red cushions and sofas adds to the already cheerful atmosphere. The staff are friendly and willing to lead you through their menu. There are a wide variety of coffees, hot chocolates, pizzas and deserts on offer. Chocolate lovers should try the Italian Hot Chocolate (with a choice of classic thick or soft and light textures) for Rs. 75. The Espresso Affogato, another Italian favourite, is nothing but vanilla ice-cream dipped in hot espresso. At Testa Rossa, it is made like the original. The espressos are priced between Rs. 50 and 75.

Keeping in the mind the needs of all its customers, TRC, introduced a Cioconat Light that claims to have 30% less calories than the usual cioconats. So for all you weight-watchers, there’s something in store for you!

Try the Chicken Hawaiian Salad (if you like pineapples and peppers!) for Rs. 150 or the Vegetarian Panini for 99. Also on the menu are the usual pastas (Rs. 150 – 220), pizzas (Rs. 170 - 190) and mocktails. Under the “Giorgio Grills” section on the menu, the High Steak – a chipotle chicken sandwich - is a must try.

Apart from just coffee and food, TRC has a pool table and a horde of board games like Taboo and Pictionary to choose from. They charge a small sum of Rs. 200 to rent the pool table for one hour.

The good mix of clientele, who seemed to be young and from a fairly high socio-economic background, makes for a good atmosphere. And although there isn’t much parking space, Testa Rossa is still worth a visit or two! Today, it almost a part of Hyderabadi culture, and rightly so.

South Indian Food Served Just Right

Chutney’s, Hyderabad

The Basics – simple, no-frills, quick service, cheap, vegetarian, South Indian food.
The Address – Road no. 36 Jubilee Hills, opposite Latitudes. Alternate address – Banjara Hills, near Nagarjuna circle, next to Subway.
The Verdict – it’s a shame if you haven’t visited it yet for their South Indian food.

Known for its South Indian food, Chutney’s is perhaps the best place in Hyderabad for idlis, dosas and the like. I’m not going to make this review long and boring, as not much need to be said about Chutney’s. It is simply the best.

Absolutely reasonable, I prefer to stick to the 70mm or paneer tikka dosa (available only for lunch and dinner). Crisp yet soft, the dosas are perfect. The accompaniments are even better – and this goes for everything! If it is Chutney’s that you are going to, you cannot walk out without having tried their six chutneys and their piping hot sambar. The channa dal, coconut and tomato chutneys are probably their best and go well with pretty much anything you order.

For idli, try the Baba idli; dosa – Chiranjeevi dosa. It makes for a perfect visit throughout the day and I can confidently say, you can skip all the North Indian food on the menu.

Expect simply décor and a no-frills restaurant with quick service and waiters that are always busy and on the go. They do not take reservations, so try to go there as soon it opens so you have place to sit – it tends to get VERY busy.

Plain dosa in the shape of a hat.

Cheers.

Uberdeq, Hyderabad
  • The Basics - Better for drinks than the food. Good view and quick service with polite waiters. Popular hang out spot for the young
  • The Address - Opposite Chiranjeevi Blood Bank and above Siaa and Spoil (4th floor), Jubilee Hills
  • The Verdict - Good for the Happy Hours, can get drab
Open-top restaurants seem to be craze today, and rightly so. Uberdeq is one such restaurant-bar which offers a great view of Jubilee Hills by night. A further incentive to go here is to quench your thirst by hitting it up for their Happy Hours.

The restaurant is done up with wooden floors and glass walls and the waiters and polite and always ready to take your order. Although they don't know much about the dishes on the menu or the drinks being served, they are perpetually smiling and greet you warmly.

Uberdeq is popular with college kids and young adults who come here to unwind and make full use of the Happy Hours. Expect loud music and a loud atmosphere in general. It's a fun place to hang out at and promises to keep bringing in the crowds.

Hyderabad sure knows how to party! Uberdeq by night... Make sure to catch their happy hours (4-8pm), 89 rupees menu. For food, chicken 65, crispy corn are not too bad. Do not order veg Manchuria!

Tasty Chaats

Kailash Parbat, Hyderabad
  • The Basics - 11am-10:30pm. Vegetarian. North Indian, Sindhi etc. No bar, Reasonably priced.
  • The Address - Nakshatra building, opposite Cream Stone, Road 36, Jubilee Hills.
  • The Verdict - Only for chaats.

At the heart of Jubilee Hills, Kailash Parbat's location has something going for it. Always difficult to get reservations here, it is recommended that you either head there at 7pm or book a table. I personally don't understand why KP is doing so well, as the only dishes that I really enjoyed are their chaats. Regardless, there must be something it that everyone loves, maybe I'm just yet to find it! Perhaps, it's the fact that their chaats are hygienic? That must count!

It is also advisable to visit this restaurant for its chaats more than anything else. Try anything you  like from dahi puri to pav bhaji (which also comes with options like cheese and masala pav, the latter which can be missed). I would suggest not trying their bhel puri as it came cold and was a bit soggy. If you are into your raggada patties being crispy on the outside, then this is not the place for you. However, if you like it cooked just right, then you must order one! For main course, the only dish that I would suggest is their kitchdi which comes with vegetables on the side. Oily, yes, but who cares!

So, if you're ever in Jubilee Hills it wouldn't hurt to give Kailash Parbat a shot, and it definitely won't hurt your pocket. It is not one of those quiet, romantic places, in fact, on the contrary it is pretty noisy, loud and brightly lit! Make your choice :)

Italian Diner.

Peperoncino, Hyderabad

  • The Basics - 11am-11pm. Non-veg, No bar, Reasonably priced.
  • The Address - Banjara Hills, Road no. 12 (Opposite Rantnadeep grocery store)
  • The Verdict - Must try.
Located on the bustling street of Road no. 12, Banjara Hills, the restaurant is on the rooftop of a building that is still under construction. Customers can chose between outdoor and indoor seating, but we were advised not to opt for the outdoor seating as it had just rained and naturally, there would plenty of mosquitoes joining us for dinner!

The indoor seating reminded me of a beautifully done diner with booths and tables to chose from. The decor is minimal, but that's what I liked about Peperoncino. The owners tried to make the restaurant "typically American" and I think they did a good job in doing so. We chose a table by the window with a beautiful view of Banjara Hills at night. I loved it! Only upon a lot of investigation did I realize that the view was that of a slum! Nevertheless,  it was beautiful indeed.

The service was quick and the waiter was attentive. He helped us order our food along with the quantities. The menu is not very extensive but that isn't a bad thing all together. We skipped the soups and salads and went straight for the primi (first course in Italian). We tried the frittuara di pesce, fried fish in lemon sauce, risotto, the pollo classico pizza, lasagne di verdure and linguine carbonara. The latter, a pasta, is perfect for meat lovers! However, it would be wrong for me to say that the other dishes were bad, because they most definitely were not.

What I like most about Peperoncino is the fact that they had sizes to chose from in each dish. There was the traditional small and large pasta/lasagne etc. The pizza's however came in the usual 9'' inch, perfect for two depending on your appetite! There was ample cheese and meat and pizzas were cooked to perfection. Or was it just that we ordered right?!

Finally, for desert we ordered the tiramisu. Although it was good it did not meet my expectations. There was something lacking, and I could not point my finger to it.

Overall, a wonderful place with ample seating and a great view and service from the staff. I was slightly disappointed that they do not serve alcohol here, but I learned it was because they do not have an alcohol license as yet. I hope, when they do get one, this place will do better and will most definitely make for a better place to dine at. Good job guys, I'd love to see some more reasonably priced Italian restaurants opening up in Hyderabad!

Until then,

Your Foodista.
